Yesterday, plantswithdirt hosted a live Whatnot show showcasing their collection of Pokémon cards. One of the rare items up for grabs was a single, unsealed card labeled “weeee #4.” With a starting price of just a dollar, it’s no wonder the card flew off the virtual shelves quickly. Cardboardretirement placed the only bid at the opening price of $1.00 USD.
As viewers tuned in via the comments, they couldn’t help but join in on the excitement. Another viewer welcomed new chatters to the conversation, encouraging them to explore the shop. The lively atmosphere was a stark contrast to the more serious discussion about plantswithdirt’s upcoming streaming setup in a new location.
Though the commentary wasn’t explicitly detailed, the music in the background hinted at a themed setup. The brief, humorous exchange about soundproofing foam added a lighthearted touch to the fast-paced live sales experience. All in all, this particular Pokémon card found a happy home for a small price. Will we see more unique items up for auction at plantswithdirt’s next Whatnot show? Only time will tell.
