During a recent Whatnot live auction show, titled “jjshopper is live · Storage Unit Finds · Whatnot: Shop, Sell, Connect”, a unique collectible item caught the eye of a single bidder. Seller jjshopper listed the item as “Pulls 12 to 15 #8”, but provided more context in their seller commentary.
The item appeared to be a house from the Department 56 Christmas in the City series. The figurine had a name, but it was not visible due to a lack of marking. The seller speculated it could be used to hold a candle or light, or perhaps as a train depot.
The live show was filled with excitement and humor, as evidenced by the brief chatter from anonymous viewers. One viewer joked about using the item “when [they’re] on [their] knees”, suggesting it could be used as a conversation piece or decorative item in any room.
