Last night’s Whatnot live show was a true fan extravaganza, and one piece stole the spotlight: “Bubble Babies – Derpy.” This original artwork, created by talented seller mammaz, paid homage to the popular Pokémon character. Featuring her signature style, the piece was a hit with the live auction audience and sold for a tidy $5.00 to winning bidder marshleeart.
Throughout the show, viewers shared their own stories and interests, from road trips and vintage collectibles to spotting wild horses on a drive through Nevada. We particularly raised an eyebrow (while also chuckling) at one viewer’s admission to monopolizing their car’s cup holders with a impressive collection of drinks. Amidst this charming conversation, the “Bubble Babies – Derpy” sale slipped nicely into the pace of the show. It’s always exciting to see art collectors connect with creators on Whatnot – and this time around, we think mammaz’s piece won’t be staying hidden for long!
