We’re still buzzing from the excitement of the latest Whatnot live show, where shoppers were treated to a treasure trove of unique finds. Amidst the throng of eager bidders, one standout item caught our eye: a 1980s boombox with a CD player and cassette deck. The seller, stayhometoshop, had the goods looking sleek and in relatively good condition – or “super” condition, as they put it.
Despite a warning from the seller that the boombox’s volume knob was a bit wonky, this retro tech find still managed to grab the attention of one intrepid bidder. After some playful banter from the seller, the boombox was sold for a snazzy $5 to user mackeen. We can’t help but wonder how this little gem will bring joy to its new owner – whether it’s spinning vinyl or playing CDs! Whatnot fans, what’s your take on this find? Would you have snapped up this retro sound machine for yourself?
