During their live show on Whatnot, seller abtropics brought the house down (literally) with their plant-filled extravaganza. Despite some enthusiastic attempts to lighten the mood with references to “dark lands,” it’s clear that the real stars of the show were the plants. The sale started off strong, with the Philodendron Lynamii selling for top dollar (well, sort of – we all know Whatnot prices aren’t for the faint of heart!).
First-time Whatnot bidder krycom67003 snagged the first Philodendron Lynamii for a sweet $20. But kellifel wasn’t about to be outdone, scooping up two more Philodendron Lynamii (#2, naturally – we assume this is a special edition?) and even snagging a Jose Buono for $10. Talk about a plant parent of excellence!
The chat was filled with chatter about everything from the best way to care for orchids (tip: don’t use tap water, and extra humidity is always a plus!) to the joys of buying online (KC, we feel you!). And when abtropics joked about not being able to kill a particular orchid, one intrepid viewer came forward to confess that even they have managed to neglect their plants to the point of near-death (who hasn’t been there, right?).
All in all, this live show was a wild ride, and we can’t wait to see what abtropics has in store for their next Whatnot adventure.
