In a Whatnot live show featuring storage unit finds, host imaniperry showcased various items, including a vintage home decor item that caught the eye of one enthusiastic viewer. Before introducing another item, imaniperry mentioned pulling a skip containing a notable find, which they fondly referred to as “Grandi.” The vintage item in question, part of a successful $7 bid by jabdathang, didn’t garner extensive commentary from the seller. However, the chat provided some additional context for the sale.
One viewer suggested the seller’s storage unit might have been prepared in advance due to a scheduled incinerator maintenance day. Another chatted about the history of Whatnot, expressing surprise at the banning of a cofounder. Lastly, a viewer speculated about the provenance of the vintage candle holders, wondering if they bore any markings on the bottom. The $7 sale closed with three bids.
