A Marble-Lovin’ Find
During a recent Whatnot live show, gobigplants sold a highly sought-after Philodendron Carmel Marble Variegated plant to mamahaas for $13. As shared by the seller in the commentary, Carmel Marble plants are popular among growers because they can be grown out and resold for a significant profit – approximately $150 when mature and around a foot tall.
The sale took place during a lively and informative session where gobigplants shared advice and answered questions from attentive viewers. One notable conversation revolved around a viewer who successfully applied scratch and smoke scarification techniques to grow mimosa seeds. This anecdote highlights the camaraderie and expertise on display during the live show, where growers and plant enthusiasts can share knowledge and advice.
This particular Philodendron is one of three, with at least two more being prepared for sale. Perhaps potential buyers are already eyeing what gobigplants has in store for future auctions – stay tuned for more exciting listings and live Whatnot events.
