In a live Whatnot auction that was anything but dull, user lastpotter seized an opportunity to snag a unique item for their collection. The vintage Kamel cigarettes pinup ad linen playing card, showcased in a recent Ephemera live show, went under the hammer for a relatively modest $2.00 USD. This card, which seems to have caught the eye of a connoisseur or two, now finds a new home.
Chat viewers were busy discussing other aspects of the auction, but one particularly excited collector mentioned that the card might qualify for their partner’s Asian-themed collection – a testament to the item’s captivating design. Meanwhile, others were distracted by the mention of “Hoyas,” sparking a friendly inquiry from the auction host.
The new owner of this vintage card, user lastpotter, made the winning bid with a single bid. Their interest in this unique item underscores the diverse range of collectibles that find a home through Whatnot’s live auctions.
