During hbuckley3’s recent Whatnot live show, a mixed bag of items caught bidders’ eyes. The last item up for grabs, “Random $2 fun #91,” brought in a single bid of $2.00. Winning bidder katygub snagged the bundle, which included what the seller described as Beanie Boos and Disney stickers.
Seller commentary painted a picture of a fun assortment. “These are BFSes from players – you get both for you and your BFF if anybody wants them… They’re so cute for little girls and cousins and friends and friends and sisters.” The stickers are indeed a mix of characters, with the seller noting “I don’t know how many are in here, but I’m going to run for a dollar.”
While the stickers may have flown under the radar for some, the Beanie Boos element likely contributed to the item’s appeal. Beanie Boos, with their large, glassy eyes, remain a popular collectible among certain enthusiasts. This particular bundle’s low price and decent condition likely made it attractive to collectors or individuals with young friends and family members who’d enjoy the toy figures.
Whatnot live shows offer a rapidly changing landscape of inventory. Will the next show’s top seller be a similarly low-key item, or will something more expensive and high-end catch the majority’s attention? Only time will tell.
