On a recent Whatnot live show, seller thriftworxusa had an unlikely item appear on the virtual stage: a set of porcelain dental samples from Switzerland. The seller’s commentary was, shall we say, entertaining as they struggled to get underway and seemingly got cut off mid-stream. Amidst the chaos, a keen-eyed bidder caught a glimpse of the rare collectible and snatched it up for a relative bargain at $9.
A curious viewer asked about the small wooden rods behind the items on the table, but the focus remained where it counted – on the antique dental sample set. As the sale went through, another viewer quipped about a (now-missing) tooth-losing incident and what seemed to be a misidentified guest, but we’re just sticking to the facts here.
