During the recent Whatnot live auction show hosted by gobigplants, a special Bambino plant caught the attention of bidder shelbexo. The auction began with a starting price of $1, but with enthusiasm from several bidders, it jumped up to $25, where it was sold.
The plant, described by gobigplants as 100% fine and expected to allocate new leaves, was one of many from the seller’s inventory. According to gobigplants, some Bambino plants from the same batch had issues, but the sold plant, designated as Bambino rehab no returns #1, appeared to be perfectly good. The winner, shelbexo, acquired the plant at a price slightly lower than gobigplants’ typical selling price for similar items, which usually range from $22 to $28.
While some viewers of the live auction expressed excitement for their upcoming plant purchases or discussed their past experiences buying from gobigplants, others wondered if a Nepenthes plant had been sold earlier in the day.
