In a Whatnot live auction show, gobigplants offered a “Black velvet urea #1” for sale as part of an educational and flash sale event. The item sold for $10.00 USD, with a single winning bid placed by user brindaporter. Gobigplants had noted that the cactus didn’t quite meet their standards, but could be brought up to par with some time and care. In fact, the seller described the potential for these cacti, saying “they’re a banging deal.”
