A Little Late but Oh So Lovely: Vintage Children’s Book Volume 7 Sells for $2.00
During hbuckley3’s live show on Whatnot, a vintage book volume caught the attention of the live bidders. Book #11, Volume 7, was being showcased by hbuckley3 and was described in the item’s commentary as “so good otherwise” but with an issue – its content is incomplete. The volume, which has been well cared for, was apparently part of a larger train that the seller was working on but didn’t complete. Viewers were charmed by the item’s quirky history, and bidder honeybeethrift secured it for $2.00.
Interestingly, the commentary hints at a popular “Train” project that the seller is working on, which seems to be a collaborative effort involving multiple participants. The sale of this particular volume highlights the unique offerings that can be found on Whatnot live auctions and shows how enthusiastic bidders are willing to snap up rare and unusual items at attractive prices.
