In the midst of a bustling Whatnot live show – “gainespet is live · Dog & Cat · $1 Starts, Pets” – Doer Gaines, a representative from Gaines Family Farmstead, a family-owned dog treat company from Birmingham, Alabama, quickly auctioned off a single item: a duck head. This all-natural chew is high in glucosamine and contains plenty of protein-rich collagen, making it suitable for canine companions.
Bidding was swift, and in just two attempts, the duck head was sold for $2.00 to user alexkin30. Meanwhile, viewers chatted back and forth, offering words of encouragement and sharing a bit about themselves. One viewer, not quite far from the Birmingham area, shared a Roll Tide sentiment, while another inquired about puppy teething recommendations. The energy was infectious, but also somewhat confusing for a new viewer, who quipped about initially thinking the item was a chicken leg.
