IDK, I Just Work Here: A Sarcastic Patch Sold on Whatnot

On a recent Whatnot live auction show, a seller with the username 2ndhandsarcasm let go of a humorous iron-on patch featuring the phrase “IDK, I just work here #19”. For $2, the patch found a new home with buyer lisanorcal52. The patch’s witty commentary seems to be in jest, advising onlookers to remain oblivious if they spot the seller on the job.

Viewers on the show chimed in with comments, including tips for securing the patch on a shirt or another fabric item (“Sometimes good to do both if it’s curved or fabric. Iron On then sew to tack down edges”). They also showed appreciation for the seller’s enthusiasm and sense of humor. One viewer quipped, “We all know you’re special, Q. So special the shirt bus she rode was a clown car,” while another joked about their own conflicting values (“I choose violence, but then I remember I am a pacifist, so I back down”). A kinder sentiment was expressed, too, with one viewer saying, “I didn’t know she was doing that. But seeing her smile made me happy”.
