The Galloway Irish Crystal vase, listed as “Large #58” by seller phillyphlipper, went under the virtual hammer during a lively live show. The vase, a beautiful piece of glassware with its own distinct weight (which weighed in at a staggering 8.966,642,509 pounds, but no doubt a standard measurement for these types of items), ended up selling to user deevee08 for a final price of $21.00 USD. This sale came after a flurry of bids – 12 in total – with no higher bids beyond the final sale price.
It’s not uncommon for Whatnot sellers to add a touch of humor or personality to their listings, and phillyphlipper was no exception, with lively commentary that seemed to be as much about teasing the buyer (or perhaps a mythical female admirer of the vase?) as it was about showcasing the item. Meanwhile, the live chat was filled with quick thoughts and winking references, from a mention of an upcoming Hot Wheels Master Set sale to some lighthearted banter about, ahem, “making music.”
