Rare Plant Find: Musa Banana Accuminata #223 Sells for $3.00 on Whatnot
This week on Whatnot, plant lover and seller capcityplants had a rare find up for sale: a Musa Banana Accuminata #223. For those in the know, this small, tropical plant is a prized possession for any serious collector. With a starting price of just $1, it was clear that it would fly off the virtual shelf.
In fact, just one bid was needed to secure this rare find, with “dandygirl09” taking home the Musa Banana Accuminata #223 for a price of $3.00. Capcityplants mentioned in their seller commentary that they have a large collection of these plants and are open to parting with similar stems, including larger ones priced at $35.
It’s worth noting that chat activity was lively during the live auction, with viewers sharing their plant-related stories and news (including the upcoming Pokémon 30th anniversary drop!). As capcityplants packed up their remaining plants for another day of Whatnot streaming, we couldn’t help but wonder what other rare gems they’ll uncover and share with the community.
