During a recent live show on Whatnot, pet treat enthusiast dainatorressh snagged a pack of 5 “perchoo” pig ears from seller gainespet for a tidy $11.20. These pig ears, made from 100% yak, were touted as free of additives like skim milk, a common filler in many lower-grade chews. According to the seller, most of the chews sold online are “cut” with skim milk, leading to easier breakage and a less-than-ideal texture. The 5-count pack seems to be a more concentrated option, allowing buyers to get the best price per ear – although buyers can also try the 40-count master box, which offers each ear for a mere $1.40. It’s clear that perchoo’s premium ingredients and transparent formulations won over at least one Whatnot buyer.
