The retro sports thrill continued during phillyphlipper’s live Whatnot storage unit auction. Among the array of Pokémon, coins, and surprises, a sealed 1989 Fleer baseball pack caught the eye of lucky bidder lisasblesseddress. This rare find sold for $27, a steal for any serious collector of vintage sports memorabilia.
While the auctioneer’s entertaining commentary kept the live audience engaged, not all viewers had their eye on the prize. One curious viewer asked about the possibility of winning an Amazon gift card, while another inquired about the availability of Pokémon figures or plushies. Meanwhile, a chat participant corrected a misconception about the Canadian one-dollar bill.
This particular 1989 Fleer pack, number 77, is a unique treasure for any baseball enthusiast. Sealed and presumably still containing the original 40 packs of cards, it holds a piece of sports history. For collectors and enthusiasts, this find is a reminder that even the most humble storage unit can yield a true gem.
