This week’s live auction on Whatnot featured nursesarah’s Deal Hunting show, where resellers and collectors gather to bid on a wide variety of items. Among the lots being auctioned off was item 01 GREEN #28, a sticker with a positive message that simply says “keep growing and keep going.” Despite no prebid or high pressure to buy, one enthusiastic collector, heleneapp, snagged the sticker for a whopping $1. When asked by the seller, nursesarah, if they wanted to be twinsies with a similar sticker, heleneapp bid again and secured the lot.
It’s not uncommon for low-price items to sell quickly on live auction platforms like Whatnot, and this sale is a great example of that. Whether it’s a small sticker or a larger item, bidders are clearly looking for deals, and sometimes those deals can be just $1. We love seeing the excitement and humor that develops in live auctions, and this sale is no exception.
