During our recent coverage of goodbyeinventory’s live Whatnot show, the seller had a few surprises in store for attendees. While the bundles were selling off left and right for just $1 each, one mystery box, labeled with the unhelpful tag #37, managed to catch the eye of several bidders.
The price started at a dollar, but it quickly escalated, with several bidders competing for the treasure within. In the end, it was modernmemaw who snagged the box for $14, a price that seemed to come out of nowhere. The chat was full of encouragement and lighthearted jokes as the seller counted down the seconds, eventually selling the box for more than 10 times its starting price.
Given the excitement and humor surrounding this sale, it’s not surprising that the box has already found a happy new home. With its uncertain contents, this mystery box was the perfect blend of suspense and fun, a trait that made goodbyeinventory’s live show so enjoyable to follow.
