A live Whatnot auction brought a chuckle-filled surprise when an item described by seller capcityplants as a “silver sword” – a USPS Priority Upgrade – sold for just $1 to vvplants. The seller’s banter with the audience hinted at the item’s rather mundane purpose, with comments about insulation and vulnerability, as well as a few wisecracks about keeping items safe in transit. Despite the playful chat, the winning bid was a straightforward $1, with no bids above this amount. It’s clear that this seller isn’t fussy about parting with a useful shipping upgrade, and is looking for a new home for it.
