During the recent live auction show hosted by nursesarah, a single item stood out among the many pets and pet accessories being auctioned off. The Red lint roller hair remover #4 received a surprising three bids, with earlybro ultimately taking it home for a tidy $3.
As the show was live-streamed, chat comments from viewers provided context and background on the items being auctioned. When a viewer raised the question of shipping costs for the lint rollers, another viewer quickly jumped in to remind everyone that shipping is bundled, with 1-5lb items shipping for $7.75, the perfect excuse to fill up those boxes and take advantage of the discounted rate.
nursesarah clearly had a system in place for getting rid of these items, with commentary on how she’s been going to storage “like every damn day” to pick up more stock. Given the low price of the winning bid, it’s likely that this lot was a part of a larger effort to clear out inventory, and Whatnot viewers were more than happy to oblige.
