In the midst of a rambunctious Whatnot live show, a pack of savvy buyers scored a rare deal on brand new JBL Tune 780NC noise cancelling headphones. These heavily sought-after cans normally retail for $149, but one lucky bidder walked away with the entire lot for just $51, a whopping 66% off the sticker price.
Sold by a seller who seemed to be going for broke, the JBL headgear in question are not only top-of-the-line but also feature all the bells and whistles, including high-res sound, adaptive noise cancelling, and even spatial sound. All of this, packed into a sleek and sturdy build that’s sure to turn heads.
We can only assume the seller’s enthusiasm and banter contributed to the frenzied bidding in which 16 bidders participated, with 16 separate, incremental bids pushing the price to its final destination. In the end, user fdegz22 emerged victorious, no doubt thrilled to snag these luxurious headphones at an unbeatable price.
While it’s unclear whether this jaw-dropping sale will set a new precedent, one thing is for sure: if you’re in the market for premium audio gear without the premium price tag, keep an ear out (pun intended) for the next Whatnot live auction – who knows what amazing deals will unfold?
