During a holiday decor-themed live auction on Whatnot, a set of medium-sized Halloween decorations in a bright, eye-catching yellow hue caught the eye of shoppers. The seller, theperfectprice, was refreshingly honest about the condition of the items, noting that they were “9/10” and that as their inventory manager (or “mod-er”), they would be handling any potential modifications.
While some viewers couldn’t help but wonder if the decorations might actually be from the more iconic “Nightmare Before Christmas” franchise, alyssa3033 saw something special in the strawberry shortcake-themed decor and made the winning bid of $12. The seller’s candor and playful spirit seemed to charm both viewers and buyers, with several commenters expressing admiration for the decorations’ kitschy charm and even planning to pick up similar items for loved ones (with one viewer mentioning a “Nightmare Before Christmas” enthusiast’s grandmother’s birthday being celebrated the very next day). Will alyssa3033 be gifting her new purchase or keeping it for herself? Only time will tell, but in the meantime, it’s clear that these decorations brought a sweet smile to the faces of many Whatnot shoppers.
