Thriftworxusa, a 5-star-rated seller with over 11,500 items sold and 11,000 followers, treated viewers to a lively Whatnot show featuring antique and vintage items from Europe. The show, which featured home decor, pottery, and antique items starting at $1, showcased a unique selection of quirky finds that sparked excitement among viewers.
One of the most interesting sales was a set of randomly selected antique mini chemists bottles, each with its own unique label and specifications. The first of these bottles sold for $18.00, with three bidders vying for it; the second sold for $15.00 with a single bid; and the third sold for $17.00 after two bids.
During the show, thriftworxusa regaled viewers with stories about the origin and use of each item, pointing out quirky details and providing historical context. For example, one of the bottles was described as a “syphilis treatment” – a claim that sparked enthusiastic responses from viewers. Although the seller clarified that not all the bottles were used for syphilis treatment, the show’s focus on unique, offbeat items kept viewers engaged throughout.
While the show was entertaining, it was not without its technical difficulties, with some viewers experiencing slow loading and scrambled feeds. However, the seller handled these issues with humor and professionalism.
For collectors and fans of unique, vintage items, thriftworxusa’s Whatnot show is a must-catch. To see their next show, be sure to follow them on Whatnot and keep an eye on their schedule.
