Imaniperry’s Storage Unit Finds live auction on Whatnot was a treasure trove of unique items, but one piece in particular caught the imagination of attendees. Auction #46, a small, intricately carved wooden plaque, was described by seller Imraniperry with a hint of foreboding: “one can do without people, but one has need of a friend.” As a nod to the mysterious and the unknown, the plaque appears to be referencing themes of isolation and companionship.
In the background, viewers were busy sharing their own tales of spooky experience with the Ouija board – it seems this particular item has its fair share of eerie legends. However, it was not these supernatural anecdotes that drew in the bidders. Just four bids, all at $7, were required to secure the winning bidder, pastvintagepresentfinds. With the sale finalized, this vintage wooden plaque will find a new home, its next story and owner waiting to be revealed.
