Whatnot live auction shows are a treasure trove of unexpected finds, and phillyphlipper’s Storage Unit Finds sale was no exception. When the coins #105 lot came up for bidding, a spirited conversation broke out among viewers. The challenge coin, emblazoned with “Trash Banda” and “Royalty,” clearly struck a chord with one enthusiastic bidder, shelley28879, who took it home for $15.
The coin’s commentary, in which the seller seemed to revel in its rebellious spirit, made it clear that this wasn’t your average challenge coin. With its bold design and cheeky message, it’s no wonder the bidding picked up quickly. In fact, nine bidders participated in the lively auction, with shelley28879 ultimately emerging victorious.
While some viewers took the opportunity to plug their own upcoming shows, phillyphlipper’s item clearly captured the attention of anyone who tuned in for the live sale. Will this challenge coin with an anti-establishment vibe make waves in the collector community? Only time will tell, but for now, it appears to have found a happy home with its new owner.
