Treasure Trove Surprise: A Vintage Watch Piece Sells for $24

imaniperry’s Whatnot live auction today was a treasure trove of surprises, but none as unexpected as a vintage watch piece that made a successful sale. Dubbed “7.50 MAX SHIPPING #219”, this item was rescued from a dumpster, and as the seller quipped, “No way. I was in a dumpster today. I got out. That’s not worth it.”

As imaniperry showcased the piece, several viewers offered their thoughts and opinions in the live chat. One enthusiastic viewer, who had only recently discovered Whatnot, exclaimed, “I just downloaded the app yesterday and watched you until 3am hahahaah.” Another viewer reminisced about the watch’s history, sharing, “In the 1970s they were owned by Hamilton watch company and then buy Swatch company and then buy Seiko watch company.”

Interestingly, not everyone was convinced of the piece’s value, with one viewer commenting, “It would probably sit in my garage for years.” Nonetheless, the unique watch brought in a tidy $24 sale, courtesy of winning bidder thepinesboutique. Will imaniperry’s storage unit finds continue to yield such treasures? Only time (and dumpsters) will tell!
