ImaniPerry’s Whatnot live show, featuring storage unit finds, vintage home decor, and costume jewelry, came to a close with a singular sale. A box of…well, 247 empty trays, judging by the show title, sold for $37 to username treehugger19. It’s hard to say what inspired the winning bid without more context, but one viewer did compliment ImaniPerry on her curated selection, noting that some items “are SO cool” and wishing they could dumpster dive with the host. The 17 bids on the trays were likely influenced by the repeated seller comments assuring bidders they would “get this empty tray” – as if trying to hammer home any potential usefulness the item may hold. As one bidder dryly noted about a different item, it’s uncertain whether they’d ever use the purchased goods, leading them to sit in storage for years.
