During last week’s Whatnot live show, tbcproductions brought a delightful assortment of holiday and Halloween decor items to the virtual stage. Among them was Large Pulls #22, a quirky ceramic kitchen figurine that caught the eye of several bidders. In the end, its new home went to Janelleblais14 for a tidy $17.
The winning item, which might be affectionately known as “Hello Kitty with Ramirez,” has seen a range of lively discussion and commentary in the Whatnot live chat. While it seems the seller, tbcproductions, may have started the show under a different name, the item’s Julie origin and its “cheaper, go away” charm have the audience abuzz. Chat attendees like Jen, who plans to host weekly “house purge” nights on Whatnot, and a viewer who uses the platform as a form of “therapy session,” both shared a bit about themselves amidst the excitement. Meanwhile, another bidders’ success – their second show scheduled through December – had a 7-year-old’s enthusiastic teacher passing on the word, as noted by “Sold by Sam” fan and new Whatnot regular.
