During a recent live show, Whatnot seller tober2 ran a quick auction for a small but potentially valuable item: a vintage 1973 Coca-Cola pocket mirror. The mirror is made by the same maker that created a 1911 tray dish, and the seller had high hopes it would sell to the right buyer. After just a few seconds of bidding, the mirror went to tober2’s previous customer, elevatecrochet, for the opening price of $5. The seller’s enthusiasm and joking with their viewers added a lighthearted touch to the short but sweet sale.
