toddysworld’s Whatnot show was a delightfully eccentric experience, and one of the standout items to emerge from the sale was a rather unusual, cast-iron item called “A Message From beyond!” The item caught the attention of steensoup, who ultimately took it home for a mere $3.00.
The seller, toddysworld, seemed a bit frazzled during the show, but gamely obliged to weigh the item as requested – which, incidentally, tipped the scales at 2 pounds. Despite some banter about a potential buyer’s absence, the item did find a happy home, and we’re intrigued to see where it ends up.
As with many Whatnot shows, the live chat was abuzz with commentary and jokes – ranging from witty observations about the item’s dubious provenance (one viewer quipped about inheriting a haunted mansion’s questionable antiques) to sweet thank-yous for items received from other sellers. All in all, another Whatnot show, another handful of happy buyers and sellers – and a couple of good laughs along the way!
