In a show that was part plant-themed jamboree and part improv comedy set, capcityplants effortlessly shifted between expert plant knowledge and offbeat humor. From affectionate musings about Philodendron Billie Var TCs to enthusiastic proclamations about “number 50, this is gonna be number 60,” the seller’s commentary was a treat for viewers.
Among the notable sales, Philodendron Billie Var TCs (#7) proved to be crowd-pleasers, with two lucky winners snagging them for $33 each apiece. Other standout items included Alocasia Pink Polly Mint TC ($7.80), Begonia SP. JAULAU ($8.40), and Pinguicula Scarlet Knight TC ($6.60).
Chat provided a glimpse into the excitement and challenges faced by viewers, with one enthusiastic fan expressing their gratitude to the seller and another expressing frustration with the live chat functionality. Despite the occasional technical glitch, capcityplants remained gracious and engaged throughout the show, setting a high bar for future live auctions.
