IMANI PERRY’S Whatnot live auction series has been a wild ride, and last evening’s Storage Unit Finds show was no exception!
The excitement was palpable as Perry dove into her latest storage unit find, filled with an assortment of treasures for her eager bidders to claim. One of the most intense bidding battles took place for lot #132, a seemingly simple storage container item that turned out to be a sweet vintage phone – sparking a spirited 5-bid frenzy that ultimately landed the phone with buyer carmalaw for a $9.00 payday.
Imani Perry herself was, as usual, the star of the show. This “junk dealer extraordinaire” and recent Pitt grad (class of ’23) regaled viewers with her witty commentary, affectionately remarking on the bow-themed lots and even taking a playful jab at her own, ahem, creative organizing skills (“It started as a ‘mgrs special’… I guess they really missed the good stuff”).
As the auction progressed, several standout items stood out, including lots #90, a $10.00 score by letmevintage, and #191, which brought in an impressive $15.00 from a determined jenhec. A $13.00 take-home price for lot #192 marked another strong showing, with bidders continuing to snap up Imaniperry’s treasure trove of goodies.
If you’re new to Imaniperry’s live shows, this is a great chance to jump in – with a new storage unit at the ready, who knows what hidden gems are waiting to be found? Catch her next show to see what other treasures come out of those dusty containers!
