Whatnot Watch: Rare Monstera Bulbasaur Sells for $40

Whatnot Watch: Rare Monstera Bulbasaur Sells for $40

During the live show, capcityplants offered a one-of-a-kind Monstera Bulbasaur, which sold for $40 to kc_y after 23 bids. The seller described this plant as “a big, big show” and mentioned that it would be the first purchase of the sale. The Monstera Bulbasaur features high-color, three-inch leaves and comes with a rather large, carefully drilled hole – a contrast to the grommet holes often seen in similar plants. This unusual plant will undoubtedly make a statement in its new home.

Viewers had some questions for capcityplants during the show, inquiring about the mature color of their plant and asking for advice on drilling holes for planters, but the seller seemed to have everything under control. The live show also sparked some good-natured banter, as the seller playfully invited viewers to count down together to “sunshine” – a clear nod to the classic 70s band, The Sunshine Band.
