During ImanniPerry’s live Storage Unit Finds show on Whatnot, a vintage fight board was one of several interesting items up for auction. The seller’s commentary accompanying the item provided some insight into its origins: “another one of these fight boards.” Unfortunately, no additional information about the item or any potential markings on the bottom were provided by the seller or the chat participants.
The fight board sold for $15.00 USD to ZagTheresa, the winner of a 9-bid auction.
A selection of viewer comments included in the auction show’s chat feature offered a glimpse into the live experience. Some viewers made attempts to educate the seller about Whatnot’s administrative policies, while others offered anecdotal insights about their own experiences with similar items.
While the Whatnot live auction style provides an immediate way for sellers to move their items, it also offers the platform’s community a unique window into what’s being bought and sold – and why.
