The recent Whatnot live show hosted by sumosell was a delight for Disney collectors, and one item in particular caught our eye: a 1955 Mickey Mouse accessory. The item started with a price of $700, but the seller, sumosell, dropped it to $19 USD early on in the show. In the end, the winning bid of $19 USD went to user valerioss31540.
Throughout the show, sumosell’s commentary added to the excitement, revealing that the item in question had once had discoloration, which some collectors refer to as patina. The seller’s matter-of-fact explanation of the item’s past didn’t seem to deter the enthusiastic bidders, who kept the energy high throughout the auction.
The Whatnot live show is a great place for collectors to discover new treasures, and we enjoyed following along as this 1955 Mickey Mouse item found its new home. Will you be tuning in to the next Whatnot live show? Let us know in the comments!
