HAMILTON-WATCHESSWATCH ESSENTIALS LOT #82 Sells for $31 on Whatnot!
IManiperry’s Whatnot show featured a diverse selection of items, but one particularly intriguing lot caught the attention of bidders. Titled “#82” and labeled “7.50 MAX SHIPPING”, this lot went for $31 to user twright02.
The commentary surrounding the lot seemed to suggest that it contained various essentials for watch enthusiasts, but a viewer wondered aloud if anyone else had boxes nearby that they could open to show what else was inside.
Other viewers chimed in with tidbits about the items’ history. “Yes, in the 1970s they were owned by Hamilton watch company and then bought by Swatch company and then bought by Seiko watch company,” one said. Another expressed skepticism about the practicality of repairing the lot’s contents, suggesting that they might simply gather dust.
The sale event ended with the lot going home to twright02 for $31, and with a well-wisher encouraging the seller to promote their next show.
