A collector snagged a vintage box for cleaning jewelry and clothing during a Storage Unit Finds live show on Whatnot. The item, labeled #81, sold for $20 to user glowingheartky after a total of 13 bids. When describing the contents of lot #81, the seller mentioned that the box, known as a “jewelry cloth,” was “vintage” and part of a run of similar items. One viewer questioned the practicality of using the item, saying it might end up being a garage decoration if not put to use. Another viewer provided some background on the company that originally produced the box, noting it was owned by Hamilton Watch Company in the 1970s before being acquired by Swatch and later Seiko. Despite the intrigue, this lot went home to the winning bidder for $20.
