capcityplants’ Whatnot live show was a hit, with many of their listed plants and garden items drawing eager bidders. Among the standouts was an Anthurium Ace of Spades x Dark Phoenix TC, a rare and exotic species sought after by plant enthusiasts.
During the show, the anthurium caught the eye of peachesncream2020, who took home the prize for $7.65. As the sale unfolded, viewers took to the chat to share their plant-related queries and experiences. One user humorously recounted a tense exchange with ChatGPT regarding the value of their own plant, while another asked for advice on revitalizing their pink-black velvet anthurium, whose variegation had temporarily “gone white.”
As with any live auction, surprises and happy coincidences can arise. In this case, a belated birthday greeting to EDDIE was shared heartily, as part of the lively conversation around the sale. With the successful sale of such a unique item, it’s clear why Whatnot continues to be a haven for plant collectors and enthusiasts alike.
