Capcityplants’ live show on Whatnot had a little bit of everything for the plant enthusiast community, from educational content to beautiful home decor items. In one of the most popular listings, Caps Choice #33, a unique and sought-after plant, caught the eye of dedicated buyer mjplantdad.
The plant, which is known for its striking variegation, kicked off the action at a starting price of $1. Twelve eager bidders engaged, but ultimately, mjplantdad’s enthusiasm and winning bid took home the plant for a steal at $13.
Meanwhile, in the chat, viewers were exchanging tips and sharing their own experiences with the Caps Choice series. Some users were commiserating about losses with the Devil’s Cliff Devil’s Claw plant, while others were asking for advice on rescuing a black velvet-leaved Coleus with a pink tint that seemed to have lost its vibrancy. The banter was lively, but the real excitement was centered on the auction itself. With Whatnot’s live shows offering a unique shopping experience, it’s no wonder that plant enthusiasts like mjplantdad are finding treasures like Caps Choice #33 at affordable prices.
