During a recent live auction show on Whatnot, seller capcityplants offered a Begonia Pink Lava TC plant for sale. The event kicked off with a starting price of $1, but interested buyers could drive up the price through bidding. In this case, multiple bidders did just that, but one winning bidder, sinnamonkandys, took home the prize for $6.75.
It’s not uncommon for Whatnot live shows to feature plants and garden items, as they offer a unique shopping experience for enthusiasts. Capcityplants has likely built a following on the platform due to its offerings of unusual and attractive plant types. In this case, the Begonia Pink Lava TC caught the attention of many viewers, some of whom bid on the item or engaged with the seller through live chat.
One question from the chat caught our eye: another viewer asked for advice on how to restore a “black velvet” plant to its original color. While the details of the plant in question aren’t clear, it’s interesting to see what types of queries and discussions develop during live shows.
