During the live Whatnot show, gobigplants had a unique item up for sale – an “ice upgrade” featuring a glass of ice. Despite some lively commentary from the seller, the top bidder, crazykjcatsplants, won the glass of ice with a bid of $6.00.
Throughout the sale, the chat was filled with enthusiastic comments from viewers, discussing everything from overwatering concerns with alocasias to successful propagation of rare plants. For one viewer, a prized pink balloon plant was flourishing despite self-watering issues, and was soon to enter a new stage of growth. Meanwhile, another was troubleshooting a rotting alocasia and considering a possible burial depth issue.
The brief comments from the seller made it clear that the ice was just a placeholder and the real prize was the upgrade to a more premium offering.
