In the latest Whatnot live show, plants enthusiast gobigplants presented a charming Orange Malano Philodendron to their virtual audience. The plant, identified as #8, was described as a “really really expensive” but “kind of small” specimen, fully acclimated and ready for its new home. The show’s friendly chatter hints at a sense of community, with viewers sharing laughs and plant-related questions. At the end of the show, the Orange Malano Philodendron earned a single bid of $17 from user plantsanddogs3, securing a new home for this lovely plant.
Note the playful dialogue from the seller and viewers, which underscores the camaraderie that’s a hallmark of Whatnot’s live shopping experience. The $17 sale price is a relatively modest one for this intriguing, potentially rare plant variety. Fans of houseplants and rare specimens take note: this one’s found its forever home!
