During gobigplants’ recent Whatnot live sale, a unique plant enthusiast snagged the seller’s prized Anthurium Black Velvet #2 for $5.
As the live show came to a close, the seller expressed gratitude to their new customer, e36_kirkers, who successfully bid on the plant. In a lighthearted and entertaining Q&A session, gobigplants shared a vision of hosting plant-related gatherings, joking that they could “do like a campground… and we’d do like a little party type thing” with big BBQs and meetups. The buyer showed enthusiasm for the plant, but the chat also turned to practical suggestions, with one viewer offering to grab bamboo for plant supports and another sharing their experience with buying from the platform. This sale marks a great starting point for both the buyer and the seller, and we’re excited to see what future Whatnot live shows bring!
