As the auctioneer described the item, they mentioned in no uncertain terms the lid was indeed new, ensuring drinks stay warm or hot for a longer time. Sellers’ commentary often bring the personality into the items, and this example was no exception, with a humorous side-eye to the recipient king. One viewer quipped “Do you see what I’m saying?”, to which the host laughed along.
The comments shared a sense of camaraderie among viewers – most having either shared similar purchases or found themselves among the many mugs in this style available. No “royal” complaints were shared about the single sale.
