In a live Whatnot show focused on plants and gardening, a beautiful Anthurium Black Velvet plant caught the eye of bidders. This stylish houseplant boasts dark, velvety leaves that add a sophisticated touch to any space. The sale price of $4 may seem low compared to some plant enthusiasts’ expectations, but it’s not the first time we’ve seen this low-starting auction format yield surprisingly strong results.
Chat viewers had questions about the product, including how to use a humidity kit and which plants benefit from it. The seller didn’t have time to answer these queries, but we’d be happy to provide some general information on plant care in a future post. Meanwhile, the sale of this Anthurium Black Velvet serves as a reminder that Whatnot’s live auctions can be a great way to snag unique, low-cost plant additions for your indoor space.
