In a Whatnot live auction that was equal parts entertaining and informative, seller capcityplants offered up a rare find: a small Philodendron with just one leaf. The listing was part of a larger sale event, but this tiny gem quickly captured the hearts and wallets of several bidders.
As the auction progressed, capcityplants regaled potential buyers with stories of other, similar plants that had sold in the past – and took a moment to check on a potentially comparable specimen in their shop. The winning bid of $9.99 came from natur3nate, a price that pleased both the buyer and the seller.
It’s a reminder that even the smallest, most unusual plants can bring a big smile – and a little extra cash – to those who collect and appreciate them.
