A Vintage Cola Bottle Sold for a Thrifty Ten Bucks
The B. Small company did indeed produce this iconic 12-ounce cola bottle, made from a heavy glass. Although no specific production date was noted, based on the style and era, it is reasonable to deduce that this piece was manufactured sometime between the mid-1930s to early 1950s. The seller, thriftworxusa, kept the auction engaging with a very lengthy description – “pie pie pie” – but a savvy buyer took advantage of the relatively low starting price. A few viewers took note of the sale, including one who mentioned checking out the seller’s website and another who wished the seller good luck with a first-time treasure show.
